Coal Export Services International (CESI) offers a wide range of consulting and field services to consumers, trading companies and, producers of coal and petroleum coke. Our staff includes industry professionals with extensive experience in mining, transportation and quality assurance.

Headquartered in Florida and with offices in Houston, New Orleans, Mobile, Norfolk, Baltimore, Maracaibo, Venezuela and Santa Marta, Colombia, CESI provides services for cargoes originating from the United States, Venezuela and Colombia. As a member of the Inchcape Shipping Services Group of Companies we have access to a global network of operational support and resources.

Mine Plan Review/Production Status
Port and terminal evaluation including local regulations, rules and restrictions
Production QA and Process Control
Sampling (mechanical or manual) and testing procedures

Cargo Attendance at Terminal

Pre-shipment inspection (visual appraisal) of inventory and storage area
Assess terminal readiness, priorities, vessel congestion, loading prospects
Review cargo handling, blending and cargo quality requirements
Review sampling and testing requirements
Witness draught survey and hold cleanliness inspections
Continuous monitoring of cargo operations
Monitor sample collection and proper identification
Witness sample preparation; sealing of sample splits and; dispatch of customer's sample as required
